Georgia Aquarium is in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at 225 Baker Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30313. It sits next to Centennial Olympic Park and is within walking distance of the World of Coca-Cola, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and other attractions. Inside, the aquarium is organised into several major galleries. Ocean Voyager is one of the largest single exhibits and houses whale sharks, manta rays, and other large species; it often includes an underwater tunnel. Cold Water Quest features beluga whales, sea otters, and African penguins. Tropical Diver focuses on reef ecosystems. River Scout explores freshwater species. There is also a 4D theater and areas for shows (e.g. dolphin and sea lion presentations). Guest services, restrooms, and dining (e.g. Café Aquaria) are available on site. Downtown Atlanta can be congested during events, so allow extra time.

Transportes públicos e MARTA

Atlanta's rail system (MARTA) serves downtown. The GWCC/CNN Center station and other nearby stops are within walking distance of the aquarium. From there, follow signs to Centennial Olympic Park and the aquarium. The Atlanta Streetcar also runs near the area. Check MARTA and streetcar schedules for the day of your visit.

If you are visiting the World of Coca-Cola, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, or staying in a downtown hotel, you can often walk to the aquarium in a few minutes. The area is pedestrian-friendly, but in summer it can be hot—bring water and sun protection for the walk.

To make the most of your visit, many guests start with Ocean Voyager (whale sharks and manta rays) and then work through other galleries. Show times are usually posted near the entrance and on the aquarium's app or website; plan around them if you want to see dolphin or sea lion presentations.
